We are seeking an Account Manager to support our Off-Price & Emerging Channels. This role would be a part of our National Sales team! The responsibility for this role will range from account maintenance and growth of existing accounts.  This role will be responsible for interaction with external buyers and many internal company departments to provide support and foster growth with assigned accounts.   The Account Manager Off-Price & Emerging Channels will be responsible for meeting pre-established sales objectives including customer development and increased sales growth.

The ideal candidate brings experience in the gift industry, a strong understanding of the wholesale business model, or prior experience managing or supporting Off-Price retail accounts. However, we also welcome exceptional account management professionals with a proven track record of building customer relationships, driving sales growth, and managing complex accounts, even if their experience comes from a different industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned Off-Price & Emerging Channel accounts, achieving established sales and revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and expand existing customer business through exceptional account management and proactive communication.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product Development, Customer Experience, Accounting, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and achieve business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, including seasonal line reviews, product introductions, and business reviews.
  • Serve as the lead representative during customer meetings, onsite visits, and trade shows.
  • Provide day-to-day account support, including:
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding orders, samples, inventory availability, and product information.
  • Monitoring sales reports and product performance to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Resolving customer issues related to pricing, credits, order processing, shipping, and fulfillment.
  • Communicating product updates, assortment changes, and key business initiatives.
  • Coordinate order planning and support forecasting activities to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate account information, pricing, and product data while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in account management, wholesale sales, or retail account management.
  • Experience managing Off-Price retailers or emerging retail channels is preferred.
  • Experience within the gift, home décor, apparel, fashion, infant, or other consumer products industries is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale business operations and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
